You have 2 IP addresses. If you have a network in your home...meaning many devices use your Cox connection...your router assigns you a "home" IP address. Start-->Run-->type cmd-->OK-->type ipconfig-->Enter
On the other side of your home network, Cox assigns your modem an IP address. Go to http://whatismyipaddress.com/
