Netgear N450 CG300DV2 Capabilities

Recently upgrade my modem with above modem/router from Cox. The box indicates guest network and parental control which appear no where on the configuration menu. In addition I download the user manual,  which says there is content filtering menu item, again it does not appear on the menu bar.   I talked with cox support and they weren't sure and give me the phone number for Netgear.  I call Netgear and they told me Cox was responsible for support for the modem was not bought at a retail store.   The only thing I can think of is the firmware must be different.  Looking for any suggestions.
