Mini Box remote with Supersonic TV

I have just installed a new Supersonic SC-1911 TV with HDMI connection from the mini box.  I cannot get the COX remote control to program the power button.  I have tried both method B and C (using '2104' as the TV code, as specified in the instructions).  Does anyone have some other ideas for me?

You could get a universal remote that works with both. I think Walmart sells some pretty cheap RCA ones that work. If interested I can dig up the link.

Hi AZuser,

What is the model of the remote you're using?

Yes, I know.  But I really only need to get the power on working (which should also give me the entire data packet so that the volume control would work also).

Thank you for the suggestions.  I tried all of them, but none work.  The 2104 code is recognized by the remote because it will blink twice quickly after I enter that code.  None of the other codes do that -- after entering the code, the power button just has one long blink.  2104 is the suggested code in the COX documentation.  I'm suspicious that this relatively new TV model is not yet supported by COX.

Hi, does the user manual that came with the TV have a code listed in it?

Yes, the code listed is 2104 and the remote understands it because I two quick blinks after I enter it.  But, the TV does not respond to that code.

AZuser,

If swapping for another Mini Box remote still doesn't work, then using the TV remote may be the next option.
