McAfee
McAfee keeps showing me a potentially unwanted program and asking if I want it removed. I say remov and McAfee goes away then comes right back with the same question about the same program--over and over and over. it is beyond silly and I want the McAfee notice gone forever The program is adware Bette Surf. HOW do I get rid of the nuisance? Thanks.

Sounds like you may have a more concerning infection that probably installed "Bette Surf" on your computer. McAfee may be removing the PuP but not removing the root of the issue, so it keeps re-appearing. Unfortunately I have no experience with Mcafee (nor do I EVER want any) so if you want to work within that program, you will have to go through McAfee. See contact info below.
You may also want to try Malwarebytes. Its a free program that might be able to find the root of the infection and clean it, and its compatible with Mcafee since it's only a passive program. Another words it only runs when you tell it to.
