This is one of those long winded posts. I've been here before for other issues, so hopefully the resolution for this one is good like before.
My speeds have drastically dropped in the past days. I've been keeping an eye on it and it hasn't changed since sometime at the end of February. Below is a list of speed tests both from Cox and other websites:
| Start | Cox Net |
Download Speed |
Upload Speed |
Latency | Cox Market |
| Wed Mar 4 5:18 PM | Yes | 34 Mbps | 11 Mbps | 149 millisec | Kansas |
| Sat Feb 28 01:01 PM | Yes | 39 Mbps | 11 Mbps | 47 millisec | Kansas |
| Sat Feb 28 12:31 PM | Yes | 14 Mbps | 13 Mbps | 109 millisec | Atlanta |
| Sat Feb 28 12:28 PM | Yes | 26 Mbps | 12 Mbps | 39 millisec | Kansas |
| Sat Feb 21 08:14 PM | Yes | 101 Mbps | 10 Mbps | 50 millisec | Kansas |
| Sun Feb 15 12:22 PM | Yes | 101 Mbps | 10 Mbps | 42 millisec | Kansas |
| Time | Site | Download Speed | Upload Speed | Latency | Region |
| Wed Mar 4 5:24 PM | Speakeasy.net | 12.6 Mbps | 13.64 Mbps | 37 ms | Dallas TX |
| Wed Mar 4 5:25 PM | Speakeasy.net | 8.11 Mbps | 14.17 Mbps | 61 ms | Chicago IL |
| Wed Mar 4 5:31 PM | Speedtest.net | 39 Mbps | 12.24 Mbps | 41 ms | Bixby, OK |
| Wed Mar 4 5:31 PM | Speedtest.net | 28.53 Mbps | 12.84 Mbps | 60 ms | Little Rock, AR |
The test on 2/28 1pm is with my PC directly connected to my modem. While the PC was directly connected to the PC, I did tests on the other speed test sites and the results were in the same range as today, that discards my router.
These are my current signal levels, and they have been in that range for the last month (I check every other day):

The only that has slightly changed since a month ago, this regarding my signal levels, is the downstream power levels going from 2dBmV to 5dBmV, which I doubt is the problem.
One thing to note though is that before this happened (mid February)I was seeing 2 upstream channels (2 and 3 I believe) that kept dying and showing as "Aborted" and wouldn't come back up until I rebooted the modem. This has stopped happening, for now.
Any help with this?
Thank you.

It'll be nice if someone has something to say about this.
This afternoon I saw that channel 3 in the upstream was "Aborted" (here we go again...). So I did a factory reset on the modem and it's back online, for now.
I did some speed tests on both Cox and speedtest.net and I'm not getting anything over 65Mbps download in cox.com and nothing over 30Mbps on various servers in speedtest.net. Upload is staying around 13Mbps consistently. Btw, why the *** aren't my recent speed tests showing within the list of the latest 25? The latest one that it shows was from last Saturday.
The current modem readings are below:

After reviewing your modem's connection to our network I've noticed that the modem is making an unusual number of power adjustments. If the modem's power cord is connected to a surge protector or strip please try bypassing it to see if it helps. Please connect the modem's power cord directly to an electrical outlet. We need to rule out any possible power issues.
