Low Connection Speeds
I don't think I am getting the speeds I should be getting with my internet plan. I am getting about 20 mbps at good times usually around 8 or less mbps in the evenings. I am paying for the top plan I think it should be a little better.

Have switched power to a non power strip. Believe my trouble shooting may have been the cause of all the power fluctuations. Still remain in the 20-25 Mbps range at best. I do have a splitter due to only one active cable outlet in the house so I have one cable box and a cable modem. Modem is a Motorola sbg6580.

Speed is excellent without the splitter and using a wired connection to computer. So it looks like it all is with the splitter and power strip. Thanks for your assistance. I will continue to work on getting a better connection signal.
