I rebooted my computer to find out that ALL of my emails in my Inbox had been deleted or are missing.
I use Mozilla but the same is try with Cox Webmail.
I had 1000 emails in my Inbox.
The folders are still fine. How do I go about getting these retrieved.
BTW, this happened once before about a year ago.
Frustrated,
Rebecca

When you say Mozilla, do you mean Firefox or Thunderbird? Sounds like you had Thunderbird set to download all your emails(and thats why not in webmail) and somehow the program got corrupted. Were you able to recover them last year?

I am sorry to hear that you lost all of your email messages, recovering them depends on a few things. When you say you use Mozilla, are you referring to the Thunderbird email program? If you had a setting enabled to "leave a copy of messages on the server" the messages would be in Webmail also. If you have not already, I would recommend logging into http://webmail.cox.net and checking for your messages. Without the setting to leave a copy of the messages on the server that means they were downloaded to your computer and unfortunately we would have no way of recovering those messages.
