long distance call??
If you live in Woonsocket, RI but you get calls from Warwick, RI, how do i get charged for long distance?? they are in the same state. Can anyone explain this to me?

Anything that is in state, but not considered local, is a toll call. Not exactly sure the way they mark it on the bill, but there would be charges unless you have Unlimited In state Calling.

funny this is i didnt make the calls.. the number called me.. it got marked on my bill 4 times for 4 different prices

First, please don't use the word rape in such a casual way.
You shouldn't be paying for incoming calls, unless they are collect. Otherwise you could call people in Japan and charge them a bunch of money. Am I missing something?
And its like this with all carriers, in all states. I live in RI too..actually I live in West warwick, oddly enough. They aren't long distance calls, which would be a different rate, but local calls vs toll calls has been a concept since the 60's and ATT.

We do not bill customers for incoming calls on Cox Digital Telephone service be they local OR long distance calls.
