I am sorry that you are having connection issues. When you lose your internet connection, do any of the lights on the modem go out or blink that are normally solid?
Not to belittle your problem, but you have posted about similar issues a couple times now, but never reply with any info on the problem. Are you just looking to document it, or do you wish to troubleshoot?
If the later, could you describe the problem in detail? For instance;
1. How are you connecting to the internet? Wired or wireless?
2. When you lose the internet, do you notice any lights change on the modem/gateway?
3. What kind of modem/gateway do you have? It's model number will be listed either on the front, or on a sticker somewhere on the device.
Check my postings in the "internet and phone drop-out problem" in this forum. I solved a similar problem by swapping the Cisco internet/phone modem for a new one - problem solved.

I just had a similar problem (see Frequent internet connection loss (2) and Frequent internet connection loss) with a brand new Netgear modem. After Cox replaced the modem and its power supply this morning (nine hours ago) the problem disappeared.
