My internet keeps dropping. Called Cox customer support. He said it is getting "T3 timeouts" my modem actually reset a few times as he was on the line looking at my connection. I told him this area is not use to freezing weather. I've had issues in 2010 when the snow and ice caused the same problem. The tech tried to tell me it was my modem. I went out and got a new Docsis 3.0 modem then. Had the same problems that very night. Called back out tech blamed trunk station. Moisture in line freezing in cracks and all. Again here now we are having severe cold weather this area is not use to. Its happening again Only now the guy is telling me after removing the spliter and changing the wires. If a tech does deem it be my equipment (the cable modem) they want to charge me for the field call and the earliest they can come check is in 4 days. Too many people are buying their own modem I guess for them to get rental fees so they have to make it up somewhere. I've been connected with cox internet for over 13 years they are growing greedy it seems.
