Replaced old docsis 2 modem earlier today with the Netgear CG3000 (and activated) and still haven't seen any increase in downstream speed. I am on the Premier tier so I should be seeing upwards of 100 Mbps correct? Thanks.

Sounds like you have the now infamous "DOCSIS 2.0 Premier code" issue. I suspect a moderator will have to take a look.

You appears to be setup correctly on our end however some of the signal levels are horrible. Note to that if you have an older router it would also cause your speeds to seem limited to the lower 30's. You may wish to also try testing without the router to see if that makes a difference.

Don't forget to have power unplugged from the modem when switching or else it will think the other device is still attached.

At this point you should have a network connection. If not Press Windows Key + R. In the command prompt type "cmd" (no quotes). In the black window that pops up type in "ipconfig /release" and wait for the command to complete, then "ipconfig /flushdns" and wait for the command to complete, then "ipconfig /renew" Once this has completed close the window and test for internet connection once more. Should solve the issue. This is also assuming your using a windows PC.
Thanks,
Robert
EDIT: ChrisL beat me to the punch :P

We can look into that for you and make sure you're getting the correct speeds for the level of service that you have. Can you please send an email with your account information to cox.help@cox.com? Thanks!
