HTTP stream injection
During yesterdays email outage I had a Cox dialog appear on several of my devices. These where inserted directly into DOM of the pages I was viewing. I find this very disturbing. What else is cox doing? How do I opt out these intrusions? Where are the terms of service that stated Cox can modify contents of other websites?

I would say this has something to do with the outage...Hacker must of broke in...but I would like to hear what others say too

I find this highly objectionable, too. If I want to know exactly how incompetent Cox is today, I'll happily go read about it on their own site. I essentially never use the Cox email account anyway.
Maybe I'll have to try HTTPS Everywhere. https://www.eff.org/https-everywhere

I agree. I posted a message about this myself. I am paying for an internet connection, I do not want to have the data stream modified by my provider, for any reason.
