How do I view shows on a client DVR that are recorded on the master Contour DVR?

I recently "upgraded" to the Contour package and am not able to view programs on the second (client?) DVR that are stored on the main Contour DVR.

Is there a setup that step that wasn't performed by the installer that I had to pay extra for since I'm wasn't allowed to install it myself?

From what you describe it sounds like the client box is unable to communicate with the host box for some reason.  I'd suggest disconnecting power to both for two minutes then powering on the host box first then the client to see if a reset helps any.

Chris,

Thanks for the response, but that didn't do it.  I ended up having to call tech support and after getting cut off the first time, after 45 minutes on the second go around they were able to reset both receivers and it started working.
