HDHomerun Prime missing a few HBO's
I have had HDHomerun Prime by Silicondust for some time i even have 2 of them they do get most all my channels however i am missing all the SD HBO's and i am missing 1300 1308 i do get the other hbo's however not sure what the problem is.... i think i just recently lost 1308 for some reason as i had a recording scheduled and windows notified me it couldnt tune it tonight checked the hdhomerun and it wasnt there not sure what to do obviously the m-card and ta are working as it finds 350'ish channels i can actually tune
edit: Just to be clear both have their own tuning adapters they are in series not parallel and both get the same lineup

Apparently this whole time even though i got majority of channels odd ones are DRM'd and cox never authenticated the cablecard properly now i have both authenticated and DRM shows up next to it and shows up in channel lineup it works had the tech remove all cablecard info and re pair

What City are you in?
Have you tried rebooting the Tuning Adapter? Is the Tuning Adapter working for other SDV channels, Try the SD MTV channels or the religion channels those should also be SDV.
There is a very similar posting on the TiVo Forums regarding loosing the Extra HBOs and Premium channels that are part of the Contour HD channels. Cox may have moved them to SDV and the channel mapping may be incorrect.

I do appreciate help but it isnt the TA as i stated or the m card i have 2 hd homerun primes with 2 seperate TA's and M-cards (cablecard) they get identical lineup and as stated switched digital video does work as i have other hbo's such as 1301 1311 some other s dont remember their exact number as stated the only channels i am missing are the SD (standard definition channels of HBO 300-311) and the HD i am missing 1300 and 1308 that i know of for sure yes my other SDV such as espn and other channels work properly 1257 tunes fine as always which is nick jr hd the only issue is with the channels i mentioned in my OP i have 350'is channels being tuned and they do indeed tune properly i am just missing select channels and with 2 devices running 2 seperate tuning adapters and cablecards and receiving the same thing it is clearly not my equipment already went through 8 mcards when i set them up in the first place will not be messing with them regardless as this can mess the whole set-up up
In Omaha NE Cox advanced prefered tv package i think is the lineup and have HBO as well. I suppose on a oddly funny note, the HD box we got for free from COX when we started services, doesnt get any but 1300 and 1301 for HBO but it does get the 300-311
and as far as my server running the tv it is running 6gb ddr3 ram Phenom II Black Edition x4 processor os is on a SSD and dvr runs onto 4tb hdd network is gigabit wired throughout but that shouldnt matter for squat when it comes to finding a few channels that are missing its not packages missing just a select few channels within package

The additional HBO HD channels are broadcasted on a higher frequency and in PEG4, so the receiver you have at this time is not able to tune to these channels. You would need to upgrade to our Contour service in order to get them on the TV.
Is the light on the tuning adapter solid or flashing? Please verify how the adapter and Homerun is connected.

The info you provided is NOT Correct, The SiliconDust HDHomeRun PRIME, HDHR3-CC is fully capable of receiving the Contour HD channels above 900MHz, up to 1GHz and is also capable of receiving the MPEG4/H.264 format video. There is an issue with some older Intel HD Graphics integrated into the Core i3/5/7 Sandy Bridge CPUs that cannot display the Video of Copy Protected MPEG4/H.264 format video, there will be sound though, but that has nothing to do with the SiliconDust HDHomeRun PRIME, HDHR3-CC itself.
Cox Arizona is no longer using the frequencies above 900MHz for the Contour MPEG4/H.264 channels, and has moved them all to SDV. Possibly other markets have also moved them below 860MHz and SDV.
The OP "rebeccaanthony" seems to be mainly concerned about the SD versions of the additional HBOs which are MPEG2 and most likely SDV, Rebecca does need to be much more specific about which channels she is not receiving, in order to pass any relevant info on to the local Video Engineers.
It is very possible the local Video Engineers in Omaha, NE need to look at the Retail CableCARD and TA channel mappings to assure they are correct, especially if the channels frequencies have been moved and or they have been moved to SDV.

The receiver I was referring to in the comment is the OP's digital cable receiver they have from us. The OP stated she could not get the additional HBO HD channel on it and I was advising as to why. I apologize if it was mis-communicated.

Stephanie,
Thanks for that clarification, Yes, the Motorola Equipment and SA/Cisco Equipment running the Rovi IPG does not have access to the extra Contour HD channels.

TO clarify I was refering to my HDHR prime not getting the hbo's i get some hbo's as i have stated numerous times i do not care about SD channels whatsoever. The tuning adapters are solid light not flashing and receive 99% of my programming when i compare my HDHR channel lineup to the cox advanced tv prefered i get everything the only channels i do not get are HD COX OMAHA NEBRASKA channel 1300 and 1308 are the HD channels i am not getting but should and i also do not get any of the SD HBO's 300-311 i dont care about sd as i only have hd tv's anyway i was just noting it for additional information 100% of my cox advanced tv prefered comes in and about 60% of the HD hbo comes in 0% of SD hbo comes in the note i mentioned was that the HD receiver i have gets all the SD HB0's and gets 1300 but not the rest of the hbo's i receive since there seems to be confusion i will post the entire line up and ************************* astrisk the area of interest
this is what my HDHR actually does receive
*******************************************
missing 300-311 SD hbo's
********************************************** above you will note 1300 and 1308 are missing
I hope this removes any confusion, also as stated before my processor is an AMD PHENOM II BE X4 and not an intel product also i am only missing 2 hd channels and the entire sd of hbo i hope that clarifies anything the tuning adapters obviously work getting all the other channels just not sure what is up with these particular channels and i dont want to risk getting a bad cablecard just to appease some tech support "check list" as i know they are working properly it would be doubtful that 2 independent cablecards have exactly the same problem and yet get everything else as with the tuning adapters
CABLE>>TUNING ADAPTER>>HRHR is the order each one works that way they runn off a splitter that is rated properly for 1ghz and for my details on signal
and this is another channel i have 5 tuners in use currently of the 6
192.168.1.3
these channels are coming in perfectly with zero issue
I have 2 HDHR Primes they each have 3 tuners they connect to one central DVR/Server and the signal is then sent over the network to all other devices viewing

is there a way to boost the 900-1000mhz frequency without changing the signal of the lower spectrum as the channels are getting quality signal and strength in the lower freq

1) Are you using good quality RG6 cable in as short of lengths as possible? 2) Are all splitters at least 1GHz splitters (instead of 750MHz) ??
If the answers are yes, try bypassing any splitter in the path of the above device. If the splitter bypass solves the problem, you could either a) try a better 1GHz splitter, or b) go with a higher frequency splitter. Cheap/old splitters, even if 1GHz, start to attenuate signals below 1GHz.
There should be at least one more signal on the same frequency as the 9xx MHz HBO channel. How is its signal level?

The cable to my knowledge is good the splitter is a 2.4ghz splitter recently purchased, i would attempt a signal boost but i get 100% signal at around 0 for most all below the 900mhz freq and cox is good to -10 +10 adding could ruin the lower freq while boosting the higher freq i just dont want to spend money on a amp prior to exhausting all othe rpossibilities i am going to do some re configuring here ina bit see if i can increase signal strength on the current hbo's and see if in doing so it allows me to find 1300 and 1308 of the 6-8 hbo's i should get i am only missing 2 in hd and for some reason all the SD but as i said befor ei dont care about sd i just want the hd so i dont have to wait until monday to watch/record game of thrones

So did more troubleshooting got signal strength and quality to 100% tried every configuration including direct from cox outside line to device and no go. got on chat with tech support and they want to send a tech out even though the equipment is functioning properly the tech says there isnt anything wrong with the account on their end any clues anyone else have an HDHomerun Prime and ever encounter missing a few channels but everything else is 100% functional?
