I recently was made aware that a file that I was storing on my cox webspace is no longer accessable. upon going to your site to view the files I had stored it appears as though you have changed the account file storage to something new "online backup" which can only be accessed using the main account (mine is one of the "other" email addresses for that account). my question is, are my files gone now? I don't seem to be able to find them anywhere (even using the main email address for my account, the file storage seems to be empty now)

Personal webspace was eliminated late last year due lack of customer interest/use. Files were not automatically moved to online backup since they were completely different products with different purposes. Because of this notices were emailed warning customers of the change asking to take whatever action required to keep the files if they were still wanted. Once webspace was removed any remaining data was permanently removed with it.

Yes, I also lost all my files. Cox apparently sent a notification email, but only to the top level email address, which is not used on my account, so the first notice of this was the loss of files.
