DVR hookup to mini box

What DVR are you talking about ... make & model?  If it's a Cox DVR, no minibox is necessary, you're good to go all digital without any additional equipment.  If it's cable card ready, like a TiVo, you need to rent a cable card, not a minibox.  If it's something else, what input does it have?  How is it connected now?

If you have a DVR connected, you will not need to connect a mini box to that TV. The mini box only needs to connect to a TV with the cable line coming from the outlet going directly to the back of the TV. ReneeG, please take the blinders off   Asking about a DVR doesn't necessarily mean a Cox DVR.  It can be a TiVo, media center PC, etc.  There are many different DVRs in addition to those supplied by Cox.
