DVR freezes
We have recorded shows that freeze up and won't let us continue. We have had the DVR for a long time and this is just starting to occur.

If you rewind the recorded show, and then play again, does it skip/freeze at the same place? If so, you probably need a new cable box. If not, then its probably a cable signal problem to the box that you just happen to be recording. It would be like recording a scratchy record onto a CD. Even if the CD is fine your still going to hear the skips of the record.
