Any TVs without a digital receiver will require a Mini Box to pick up the TV Starter and TV Essential Channels in your Cox channel lineup. For customers that are subscribed to Cox TV Economy, the TV Starter channels will be available to those TVs with a Mini Box.

No, to receive the digital channels through the Cox lineup, the Digital signal will be encrypted and require the rental of a Mini Box, Digital Receiver, or Cable Card.
