dragging slow connection

I have deleted programs, run virus scans, deleted cookies and did a defrag. My PC is still running extremely slow. Not just one site, everything I try to do. Even opening files in my email. Anything else I need to do? Thanks in advance!

Are you currently having this issue with other devices in the home? Is this slowdown happening when performing tasks on the pc that does not include the internet?

Not happening on other programs, internet only. No other devices in the home are affected.....

Try using the resource monitor to isolate what might be causing the performance issue. If its a svchost then it will take a bit more time but its a good place to start.

Something else you can try is safemode with networking, or just logging into the computer as a different user.
