It sure seems like they do. Every time I start CrashPlan, my internet service "dies" and I have to reboot the modem, after that, all is fine until I run CrashPlan again. Even when limiting CrashPlan to 300Kbs uploads it still happens. No other service does this, torrents, dropbox, etc. all work fine.

When this happens, do all connected devices loose internet service or just the machine running CrashPlan? Are you connected wired or wireless? If wireless, does a wired device still have connectivity?
What modem/router or gateway do you have? What are you running CrashPlan on? If it's connected via WiFi, can you test with a wired connection and see if it still crashes?
