Cox speed check not working
I have been trying to run the Cox internet tools speed test since yesterday with no success. It times out in the latency test, never gets to the upstream/downstream tests. Tried from both Firefox and Chrome, both give same result. The Ookla speedtest.net site works fine. Is there an issue with the Cox flash app or is the target server down? BTW, I'm in the Providence market.

Broken for me too. Using Chrome Version 38.0.2125.111 m and in RI.
I would post the picture, but seems that is broken with Cox too. :-(

Same thing I'm getting, Health Edge. Also on same version of Chrome and 33.0.2 of FF. Flash version 15.0.0.189. speedtest.net also uses Flash and works perfectly.

Yes, they also use the same software on their servers by Ookla. I think the server itself is down, atleast for RI. I tried changing my Zip code, and even using a proxy to change the server it tests from, but no go. I also checked all the Speedtest.net servers near RI, and all work. Can anyone confirm if down in other markets?

Not sure if it's related, but the speed test through my connections is currently reporting an invalid or expired license.

Cox internet tools speed test not working for me either connection "Test timed out" after clicking check speed and it just hangs at the ping test at a minute or so before reporting this, also does not allow you to no longer change test market please fix asap.

They really want individual tickets? Come on. A moderator was able to replicate with his account. Chris, any update on your ticket?

Great. Let us know when either of your tickets get resolved? To be honest I am not comfortable giving my primary password out to anyone. I am pretty sure its a national problem...so can't those NOC engineers just try with their own accounts for "examples"?

I agree with you, Health Edge. The problem is repeatable here using Windows 8.1, Flash plugin 15.0.0.189:
1. Firefox 33.0.2
2. Chrome 38.0.2125.111 m
3. IE 11.0.13
I have also tested it on a different system running Firefox on Ubuntu 14.04, same problem.
I am located in the Meriden CT market.

Speed test not working in Omaha, NE, also. It hangs at the latency test and eventually times out. I'm running a Mac with OS 10.10 and Safari. I get the same results using Firefox.

What errors does the speed test give you when you try to run it? This is something we will need to report to our engineers to look into if it isn't working.
