Cox modum
Cox came out and replaced my modum with a cox supplied modum. What is the differance other than my bill went up?

why did they replace it? if you are using it for the phone should be no charge.

The bill would not have increased unless a modem was replaced with a rented modem with wireless built in. If a non-wireless modem/EMTA was replaced by another non-wireless modem/EMTA, then the modem swap would not cause a change in the monthly rate.
