Recently returned as a Cox email customer. My wife and I each have our own computer and both of us are really annoyed with having to re-enter our user & password dozens of times per day while working on our emails. Our previous email usage did not require this annoying ritual. How can we by-pass this situation?

What do you use for email?
If its a program like Outlook express or something similar then you probably either have the password entered wrong (so the program keeps asking for the "right" password) or you might have another account loaded into Outlook (like your previous email carrier) and its asking for the password for that.
If you use webmail.cox.net, then the issue is the password for cox.net is time senstive, so after 10-15min of no activity, it assumes you have left and signs you out for security.you have a couple options. One option is to switch to a client like Outlook. Another is to prepare the email notepad or wordpad and copy paste it into the email. Last, you can use enhanced webmail instead. This has a auto check option that checks for new mail every 5min and I think overrides the timeout.
