Cox and History Channel for Roku??
Hello.
My father bought me a Roku a while back, and its been pretty neat. I normally dont have cable or satellite because I dont always watch enough TV other then basic channels to justify it. But with the Roku it adds some more viewing options for the times I actually do watch TV. I have found some interesting programs, through the Roku, on the History Channel. The problem is to view some of them(including the next seasons of shows Ive been watching) I need to use a code from a pop up window on the Roku's History Channel, then register that code on the main History Channel website online. So when I go to do this, I find a list of cable providers, and Cox is not listed any place in the entire list. Ive seen one other post on this, and many complaining about the same issue. For the amount of money we pay not only for cable, but for internet as well, its easy to say Cox is one of the most expensive Cable providers in KS I believe, with few if any exceptions(let me know if Im wrong). So why hasnt Cox been added to the History channels list so us Roku users can register? Is the crazy 67 dollars a month Im spending on my internet alone, not good enough?? Any help on this would be great, thanks.

Many channels require that you have a traditional TV subscription in order to access their online content. At this time I don't believe we have an agreement with History Channel to access their online feed. This would require we negotiate for re-transmission consent. I'll be sure to submit a programming request on your behalf.
