Countour 2 - Power Issues

Hello -

I've noticed within the last few months that my Contour 2 (main system) often will not send a signal to my TV until I press the power button for off (it is on) and then press again to turn it on. This happens when the remote power button is pressed which turns on my TV and Receiver. It is almost like the remote isn't able to turn on or off the receiver and the receiver eventually just goes into some sleep mode. The blue power light on the button, when this happens, is illuminated and when I push the channel up/down or any other specific Contour functions on the remote the receiver green light flashes as if it is acknowledging the commands. 

Other than this, the remote works fine with the Contour.
