To have a Contour 6-ch DVR and client installed required a Cox technician on site. Since that time I have been unable to get a TiVo with tuning adapter and M-card to complete the TiVo start up sequence - it always freezes at Acquiring Channel Information and 89%. This is true with two brand new TiVo Roamio Plus's and my older TiVo Premiere which I retired when the Cox DVR and Client were installed. I have returned the TiVo Roamio's and exchanged the Cox 6-ch and client for a single 2-ch Cox DVR. Now I would like to get my TiVo Premiere working again but still face the Acquiring Channel Info hang up at 89%.
I believe that something Cox did during the 6-ch whole house setup is preventing the TiVo start up process from completing. Before I tried 6-ch Contour, I had the TiVo Premiere and a Cox 2-ch DVR set up and working -- I'm just trying to get back to that.
Please, how do we undo what Cox did for the Contour 6-ch and client set up?

Is it an SA/Cisco or Motorola CableCARD and Tuning Adapter?
Stuck on "Acquiring Channel Information" is often a signal issue
Do you have an Amplifier on your line?
Do you know if your signal is good?
