Contour: Recording a program in progress

When I’m watching a show and decide I want to record it 15 minutes in, the Contour only records from the moment I press the button, and not the entire show. I have seen other posts about this and need this to be fixed. My wife says we have to go back to DirecTV if it can’t be done!

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us.  Currently our Contour 2 product does not have the ability to record the entire show once it has begun.  You can only start recording at the time the record button is pressed.  We have been contacted before, as you mentioned about this feature.  It is with the hands of our development team, and hope that one day it can be implemented into the format.
