Who are "they?"
The one smaller box is a Mini Box. You can watch Cox TV with a Mini Box.
How many TV sets do you have in your home? If you have two, would you watch Cox TV on both?
You'll be charged for both boxes. If you don't need both, the choice of which to keep depends on your service, such as DVR, premium channels, MLB Extra Innings, etc.
