I have had this DVR for a week, and I have to say I like my three-year-old satellite DVR much better (well, except for the rain fade). Concerns:
1. No PIP - I can't believe that this is even an issue in 2013. In fact, it should be able to do 6-screens at once (it does so in the interactive zones, though I see no way to configure those screens.)
2. Switching between tuners loses my place. So, if I am watching a football game on tuner A, I want to pause it, switch to tuner B, pause it, and go back to A and resume where I left off. Right now, tuner A is live, so I have to rewind to get where I was. My old satellite DVR can handle this, why can't the 6-tuner do it?
I had 30 days to commit, and I am not sure I am going to keep it. I ended up exclusively using the satellite DVR on the weekend. Luckily, it didn't rain.
Are these issues addressable now?

jgwufgator,
I personally enjoy being able to use the swap on the 2 tuners also. I'm not sure with the 6 tuner how the swap would work or if you'd have to go through all six tuners and come back. It could be the same issue with the PIP. I can send your suggestions to our Product Manager to see if these are possibilities. Please email me at coxhelp@cox.com.

Whether or not PIP is active is not a function of the DVR. The DVR supports PIP. It is the Trio/Contour firmware that does not support PIP in the firmware's latest version. Perhaps it will in a later version. Perhaps not.
