Issue cropped up about 2 weeks, maybe 3 weeks ago, and now this is happening all of the time. I wasn't having any issues previously with interference or power requirements so I'm at a complete loss at what is causing this. I need to get this fixed because this is severely impacting all of the things I do that require a stable internet connection.
Using the Motorolla SB5101 and currently in the san diego area.

I know how frustrating it can be not to have a stable connection. Intermittent connection is the hardest type to deal with because you never know when it is going to stop working. I would like to take a look at your modem information, checked the signal and power levels as well. It may come down to us having to send a tech out but that will be based on what we find. What was the outcome of this situation?
For the past 3 weeks, I started seeing the same symptoms - Internet will be fine for X amount of time then drop for a few minutes. My modem logs look pretty much the same as the original poster. PCaps suggest something DHCP related since the time period I'm offline shows 192.168.168.x but when I'm online I'm talking to 10.54.32.x. I'll have to watch closer to see if the modem is actually rebooting as the logs suggest.

Having pulled up your modem MAC, you're actually at the top end of the operable transmit range, and have been for the 2 weeks of history I can see. I'd have to suggest double-checking all your cable connections, and bypassing any splitters if possible, to see if that helps. If not, it would be best to put in a service call.

Thanks for the quick response - I live in the middle floor of a three story Apt building and I know I had issues when I first moved in - Long story short, tech added an amp to help boost signals. I know there have been some folks that move in/out recently and that may have changed some "environmental" variables. I'll check the cables and amp before placing a service call.
