Cloud Drive Mac Drag Drop

Is the ability to create a:

Virtual Desktop Drive which looks like a file folder and allows easy drag-and-drop backup

Only a Windows feature? I use Time Machine and happy with that but was wondering if there is a way on the Mac to have a folder I can drop files in. Or must I do this through a web browser interface.

If there is no way to create a virtual desktop folder for Mac, is that in the plans to allow for the Macintosh platform?

Thanks!
