Closed captions on WGBH

The closed caption comes to us with the broadcast of the show. Does the show state closed caption is available and not showing? If so, what's the show title and time it airs? In which city do you live? What model receiver do you have?

Thanks for looking into this. This is a general problem on WGBH 2 for all Masterpiece programs (not for many other programs, e.g. PBS newshour, which has CC.) From settings-closed captions choose yes, but no CC appears. Example: Indian Summers on 2 at 9:00 pm, no captions; when replayed on 804 Tuesdays at various times, e.g. 10:00 pm, captions are available. I'm in Cranston RI. Receiver Motorola 6412 III.
