Thank You for finally updating the Cisco CableCARD firmware, for improved 6 Tuner support
The new firmware received this morning is OS Ver: PKEY1.5.3_F.p.1301 - Build Apr 4 2014
Prior version was PKEY1.5.3_F.p.0601
Do you have any idea when the Cisco Tuning Adapters will get the firmware update for improved 6 Tuner support?
If you need any Field Beta testers please contact me. Thanks
Bryan - in Phoenix, AZ

Thanks for your post! I've reached out to a few of our AZ video engineers to see what info I can get for you regarding firmware for the Tuning Adapters. Are you having any specific problems with the Record 6 that seem to be instigated by the Tuning Adapter?

My Cisco cable box has been locked up all afternoon (7/30/2014) trying to "Download CableCARD software". What do I have to do to break the chain and start receiving the TV programming I am paying for???

Unplug the box and let it reboot.

I do not have a Cox Contour Record 6
I have a 6 Tuner TiVo Roamio Pro. Both Cisco and TiVo have stated there is an issue with the current Cisco Tuning Adapter firmware Cox is using (F.1601) that causes failed tuning requests when 6 tuners are in use.
TiVo and Cisco have recommended all Cable Providers update to F.1901 or later.
See the previous firmware requests:

Thanks for the news. My Cisco 9865 had "CARD" displayed when i turned it on July 30. No reception. I unplugged and everything is working. Was any warning given about this CARD. I am in Phx.
My only recent problems were 1) the station that is on when i turn on the box says "No reception ( or something like that) on this channel. When calling Cox refer to 3.1.1.1". When i change the channel, everything is fine.
2)For the first 2 seconds of any recorded show (during playback), the screen is pixilated and voices crackled. After 2 seconds, all is well.
