Can't stay online
I keep losing the internet connection, it drops it, picks it up, drops it after a minute, over and over and over. I've tried everything from unplugging cables to restoring to rebooting everything - reconnecting modem, just everything - nothing works.
Any suggestions?

When you lose connection, do you notice if the lights on the modem reset? Do you have to reset your equipment to get your services back working? Do you have any splitters connected to the cable line coming from the outlet going to the back of the modem?

They will ask questions and make suggestions but nothing will work. Everyone is having this same problem and as long as the money keeps rolling in, Cox couldn't care less.

Everyone is not having the same problem/s at all. Where are you getting this data from? Also, how is your post helpful?
As for going offline, I would first check if the modem is actually going offline when you do. If it does, I would check the signal levels on the 192.168.100.1 page.

Many ARE having the same problem... maybe not you but a lot of other people. It started about two years ago and has gotten steadily worse. Check the other threads. It is a very common complaint with no resolution.

You do know Cox is a national ISP right? How do you know these issues are related? Everyone here posts because they have problems...so ofcourse your going to see people with problems here. Are they in the same down? Same state? Same timezone? Seems like your jumping to assumptions to backup your claim...which is what? Your making claims about things and systems you don't understand.

I notice you still can't claim a resolved issue. Perhaps it is you who lacks understanding.
