Hi,
I changed my Cox's modem (from Motorola's phone/internet combo to internet only Cisco's DPC3010 modem) and I can login to my security camera's server without any problem at home's Wi-Fi. However, I can not login to this server while using the Wi-Fi network outside of my house.
Every thing used to work fine with the old modem, but not the new one. Is there any thing that I missed? I did not change any port-forwarding or any other setting in my Linksys router.
Thanks,
Dennis

Your IP address changed.
Go here to when your home to see what your new IP is. If you use DDNS make sure your client updates.

I believe HealthEdge is on the right track with his question, as it sounds like a setting or two failed to update during the installation of the new modem. Are you using a Cox Home Security System?
