Can I use another device's remote to pair up with the Contour cable box

I'd like to use my Bose remote to control the Contour HD-DVR receiver and my TV. I did this with the older version Cisco HD-DVR cable box. Is this possible with the new Contour box?

Scroll through all possible codes for Comcast or Arris to use a non-Cox universal remote. This worked for me.

Hi Tah123,

Thank you for contacting us. Do you have your Bose manual on hand? There may be a code that you could use to control the Contour 2 box. Also what type of bose remote are you using? Is there a remote code on the back?
