The Caller ID on TV feature isn't working on our Contour equipment. I have Ultimate Internet, Advanced TV Ultimate w/ Contour, and digital Home Phone service that should all work together, but don't. The caller ID on the phone itself works fine, it just doesn't come up on TV.
I have tried power cycling/unplugging the boxes to no avail. I have checked the settings in the "interactive services: phone tools" menu to confirm that it is turned on(which, by the way, is not even covered in the online help/FAQ - only generic instructions for Motorola and Scientific Atlanta boxes), and tried turning it off and back on. I even tried turning it off, unplugging for a few minutes, restarting, going back in to it and turning it back on, but still no luck. I can change the settings for duration and banner location, but that's futile without it showing up. I cannot access the Call Logs on TV either, get an error message "We are sorry. Call Log information is unavailable at this moment."
Any suggestions on how to get the Caller ID on TV to work?

The trick I have heard to fix the issue is have someone at Cox remove the cable occurrence from the box and adding it back on. This may also be called "re-provisioning" it. If that doesn't work, sometimes a ticket has to be put in with their Telephone Test Desk to check the phone system, or "switch", for the code needed to make TV Caller ID work. The first trick is pretty common, but the second one isn't required that often.

Is more than one box affected or just one box? Are you having any problems with channels or with communication between your boxes? This will help determine where the problem might originate.
