Call forwarding and setting up voicemail
trying to setup call forwarding and voicemail. when I enter *72 I get a busy signal, not a dial tone. as for voicemail, when I am prompted to either dial my number followed by the pound key, or just the pound key, I get a message sayin " I'm sorry, your login attempt has failed." ???

I think thats a stutter dialtone (faster then busy) to alert you the feature has been activated. When you get that dial the number you want to forward your phone to and wait for it to be picked up or received.
As for voicemail, what area are you from and what access code are you dialing? Last, have you checked your bill to make sure you get voicemail? It doesn't come with all packages like some think.
