Cable Programming by Channel
Why is it that a huge percentage of the time, when I try to view the programming listing via the Cox website, it tells me it cannot find the information or gives me some other reason why it cannot let me browse channel programming to select what to watch? I do not have the on-screen guide, and I depend heavily on the web program listing. I need Cox to fix its website and provide continuous, reliable, accurate programming information.

Since when is providing programming information on the web Cox's responsibility? Use Zap2It or TVGuide.com instead.

Since Cox actually devotes pages to programming information, one should be able to expect it to work.

I was able to replicate the problem. When it happens just hold down CTRL+F5 to force a reload and try that a couple times. What I think the issue is is they changed databases when they launched the new site a couple weeks ago and not the plugin timeout limit is sometimes reached, which gives the error. But if you try it a few times, you can get the server to react fast enough for the flash plugin.
