cable box remote controller
My cable box remote controller is getting more and more difficult to use. Some of the buttons on the remote have to be pushed several times before it works. How much is a new remote for the cable box?

You can exchange the defective remote at a Service Center free of charge. I'm sure the remote has new batteries...because you replaced them during troubleshooting, right?...so remove the good batteries before you exchange the remote.
Cox notified customers on their 16 August statement of a new policy concerning remote controls: Effective October 15, 2016, Cox will begin charging a $20 fee for each additional, lost or broken Cox remote control.
However, that policy shouldn't affect worn or defective remotes.
