BBC America and BBC America HD Signal is Extremely Choppy

So I just want to watch Doctor Who on Saturdays but every time I try the signal quality sinks greatly and video freezes along with audio while video pixelated and distorts. It's making my viewing experience extremely poor and veritably ruining my Saturday nights. Is there any way to fix this? It only ever happens on BBC America standard and HD.
