Bad route
I'm seeing a bad route and am unable to access the destination server in a reasonable time.
The bad hop appears to be from
po4.lax-5-6k.ca.us
to
be100-1033.nwk-1-a9.nj.us
and from
be100-1033.nwk-1-a9.nj.us
to
be100-1295.ldn-1-a9.uk.eu
Please help with these bad hops and resolve this route, and tell me what I can do about it.

Were you having trouble with a specific site? It looks like the latency occurs outside of our network based on those trace results.

According to your traceroute it looks like the lag is induced by two long legs - California to New Jersey and the undersea cable to the UK - both types of connections that are something you can expect a bit of lag out of.

The delay is overseas, which is outside of cox's control, and some of the packet loss seems to be between the modem & router, are you using a VPN?
