What is the latest on availability of nomorobo service to cox residential customers? Forum posts on this subject are six months old and the number of robocalls is only increasing.

When Beelzebub wears earmuffs.... shortly after that, we'll see the robocall blocker being offered.

Hi Sandy, Cox does not currently offer Simultaneous Ring which is required for Nomorobo to work. Cox does offer other features such as anonymous call rejection and selective call rejection and acceptance. We do not have information at this time regarding when Nomorobo may be available.
Thank you,

Verizon FIOS supports Simultaneous Ring and nomorobo, why don't you?
If even Verizon is sensitive to this customer need, how is Cox management so insulated from it?

Surely technology exists that would enabled spoofed calls to be spotted as they're being made in order to reject them... I repeatedly get calls from my own name and number- usually from "Rachel" or now "Veronica" and "Cardmember Services"... robocall greeting that my accounts are in good standing or something along those lines. Get past the robo greeting and it's clearly a boiler room criminal operation= likely from India.. and a thing I've been dealing with since before the DNC placebo button was created to placate us monkeys... on the premise that something was being done.
This is not a request for help because I know that anything Cox (or nearly any other phone service provider) offers entails a higher bill for me... so this is just a rant about criminal harassment.... that service providers are profiting from- at the victims' expense and NOT the criminals'... as it should be in a world where spewed idealism about justice were reality.... but that is a fantasy world. Here in "Realville" a robocall pretending to be from the IRS telling me that they have filed a lawsuit against me gets reported to the FCC is not pursued. One business day later the FCC emails me that they have closed the ticket.... so I do not advise anyone to waste their time with the government unless they are just doing so for the placebo effect because the same bureaucracy that collects metadata on every email and phone call made/sent in the country on the premise that we're all potential terror suspects cannot be bothered to pursue criminals attempting to defraud and who have zero regard for the rule of law that "protects" us.
