Archer CR700 router with built-in cable modem - will it work on Cox?
I happen to have acquired a new TP-Link AC1750 Wireless dual band docsis 3.0 cable modem router. That is a pretty nifty router but it has a built-in cable modem. MY QUESTION IS Can I connect this to my Cox cable? (Right now I am just asking if this is possible I can worry about actually doing it later). The TP-Link manual does mention Cox but says nothing else.

I'm not currently showing this as a device approved for use on our network. I'd suggest visiting http://www.cox.com/residential/support/internet/article.cox?articleId=b2ec95d0-7ef9-11df-5590-000000000000 before committing to any purchase to make sure you won't experience problems getting your modem activated.

That gateway's info page does not mention Cox at all.

The manual may be referring to what networks their products generally work on as a whole, not that specific model.
