Amazon Firestick
What can be done to tweak my internet connection so that when I'm using my Amazon Firestick to stream a movie, it's not having to constantly pause for buffering? I pay for a good download speed, so this is unacceptable to me. Any insight would be appreciated.

What download speeds do you get with a wired connection? A wired speedtest will help isolate the issue to either the cable or WiFi. Also, what modem/router or gateway are you using?

First, something like this really helps with wireless reception. The further you can get it's tiny internal wifi antenna from the heat and interference of your TV the better. Also can save you from sacrificing 2 HDMI port since the firestick is kind of big. Totally worth 2$
Beyond that, would need to know more about your network. What gateway/router? How do you have it configured now?
