Issues with 3rd party TV apps

Specific apps persistently freeze, buffer and drop out. Amazon Prime, paramount plus, Disney plus, Hulu and YouTube have all had this problem. Happens every day 10 to 20 times during a show.

Netflix, HBO, stars, all regular channels work fine.

I am sorry to learn of your apps freezing.  I can imagine how frustrating that must be when trying to watch your favorite shows.  Please email us with your account details to cox.help@cox.com so that we can check your equipment diagnostics.  I am sure we can get to the bottom of your issue.

I'm at the end of patience.  I can't watch NetFlix, Prime, or ESPN through Cox Contour.  

I've been trying to get support and help from Cox since March 2026.  This is only through the DVR, not the mini boxes.

Have others this same problem?
