And I guess the word temporarily means always.
Seems only the channels AMC-HD 1026, FX-HD 1027, and TNT-HD 1028 have this message all the time. Oops I mean temporarily. There could be other channels that have this problem I suppose. A refund for these channels would be nice.
But does anyone know why this is the case? Have tried resetting a number of times but that didn't fix anything.

How long has this been happening? There haven't been any seen trends, so we would recommend some steps to see how we can get this error message to go away for you. If you channel up a couple times, then back down to any of these three channels mentioned, does the error message go away? Are you receiving the SD channels without this error message?
If no change, I would then recommend unplug the power from the wall to the receiver for 20 seconds. Once the power is connected, allow a couple minutes for the reset to complete, and check for the HD channels again.

Has been happening for a long while.
The SD channels work.
Channeling up or down doesn't fix it.
As stated, resetting doesn't fix it.

Do you have multiple TVs in the home with the same symptoms? Are there any splitters or amplifiers in the home that are attached to the coax between the receiver and the wall? A remote reset may have a temporary or no fix, so the next step would possibly be to reserve a technician appointment. You may call our 24/7 support or contact cox by Facebook, Twitter, or email at Cox.Help@cox.com for further assistance.
If you choose to email, please attach a copy of the forums link, and include your full address and name on the account.

This is the only TV, no splitters or amplifiers.
I guess we will have to call a tech.
Out of curiosity, what is it the the tech will do? How can only a few channels have this problem, but all others work? That seems odd to me.
Thanks.

I did take a look at your cable box and it seems to be getting a nice signal, that doesn't mean that there's not a problem. A field technician has the tools to take a closer looks and find the specific problem. If you're still not receiving the channels that you mentioned back on June 1st, we need to get a field tech out to get this resolved.
