Is model number PXDOANI wireless or does it have to be connected to a cable outlet from the wall as well as to the back of tv? I specifically ordered and pd a high deposit for a wireless box. Reason being I have no cable outlets downstairs. I have panoramic wifi running upstairs and was told wireless cable box could connect to the modem for me to get my cable service. This model number is what I was given and I can't get any connection whatsoever. Cox customer service assures me that I have the correct box and it is a wireless box.

Thanks for your inquiry. If the box has a coaxial connection on the back, you would need to connect the box with a cable wire. I'd like to look at this, which requires sharing your personal information. Please reach us on Twitter at @CoxHelp, visit us on Facebook, or email us at cox.help@cox.com.
