Roku remote not compatible with Spectrum

The Roku TV remote is not compatible with Spectrum. Do I need to get a Spectrum box and remote?

Hello cisselin14, 
No, you do not need a Spectrum cable box or a Spectrum remote to watch Spectrum on your Roku TV. Here is some information I have found that should help. 
 
How to Use Spectrum on Your Roku TV
  • Use the Spectrum App: You can stream live TV, local channels, and on-demand content by downloading the Spectrum TV app directly from the Roku Channel Store. 
  • Control with Roku: Use your standard Roku remote (or the free Roku Mobile app on your phone) to navigate the Spectrum app, change channels, and manage your shows. 
  • Requirements: You just need an active Spectrum TV plan and a Spectrum internet connection connected to your home Wi-Fi.
