Decades TV

Yes, curious too why the Decades Channel 99 completely   disappeared.  I knew METV was moving to a new channel but that it was ‘over the air’ move.  I have Cox Cable but am experimenting with an antenna to see what I can get in my area which is Southern Highlands in the Southwest part of the Valley.  Have not been able to get Decades or too many channels but will keep trying. Very frustrating to loose channels you enjoy on Cox. 

This is so disappointing. I live in a condominium so I am restricted to a small antenna. Even if I can snake it over to a window, I barely pick up anything. I can't imagine that Decades costs Cox very much to carry so this is very frustrating. No warning, no information on the internet. I hope it's just some technical difficulty. 

Windows aren't always the best choice to position an antenna because broadcast frequencies can travel through walls.  You might have a crappy antenna.  Care to share its make/model?

I'm not sure but they're not new. My brother gave me a couple to try. I was trying to pick up a some channels that weren't on Cox, the game shows and it was Comet I think. I tried pointing them everywhere including the ceiling. He lives in the NW and uses it in a spare bedroom and gets a lot of channels. I'm lower in the valley and surrounded by buildings. I just want Cox to carry Decades channel again and I'll be happy.

A set of "rabbit ears" could pick up TV broadcasts.

If you live lower than most, you may need something on your roof, but you live in a condo so this wouldn't work.  Perhaps your attic?

The better antenna has a larger panel and two little rabbit ears.  I don't know where they broadcast from but I think probably the center of Las Vegas. I don't know if you're in Las Vegas, my brother is Charleston and 215 and the antenna faces the mountains in the west, and he gets a lot of channels. I'm 10 minutes from him at Lake Mead and Rampart, antenna faces north. Yeah, I don't understand antennas. I don't mind trying this again and maybe will have better luck with this particular channel.
